Earthquakes are responsible for a high grad of damage in our cities. An earth shock hits us suddenly as it cannot be foreseen. The reason is that two blocks of the earth slip past one another. So my idea is to help these plate moving by lubricating the boundaries. We could drill holes along the edges at endangered areas like big cities. These holes get filled with a natural lubricant.

dangerous threat from solar wind
All our communication system is based on electromagnetic devices and radio waves. We know that this system is susceptible to solar wind. What will we do if one day a very strong solar wind hit us? We already were confronted with such occurrence in the past. My idea is to invent a new communication net without the need of electronically devices. For example we could use light instead of electricity.

Building houses means to start on the ground and start on different places. My idea is shown on the picture above with an Eco-Shell Multi Use building system. The 3D printer starts on a vertical wall and goes from left to the right end.The advantage is that you would not need any substructures.
well plant
When we need water from the ground we have to drill a hole to pump up the water then. My idea is to breed a special plant which could bring water to the top by using the effect of capillary rise. The advantage is that the roots of the plant go directly to the water. The challenge will be to get a good flow volume.
smart rope mattress
Many types of mattresses can be found in the shops. I think that a mattress needs much space in use and also when you waste it. My idea is to invent an intelligent mattress made of smart ropes and knots. Each section between two knots is working autonomous but is also interconnected with the overall rope system. This allows different areas of tension and the feeling of lying on a thick mattress.
where do I park my car?
When you go by car to visit a shopping center you will probably have to park your car at a distanced place. After while in the shopping center you do not remember where you have parked your car. There already exist a couple of ideas and solutions. It is easy to find your car by a GPS signal. For example use your APPLE gadget. More comfortable is it when you leave the mall and your autonomous car arrives at the entrance door.
noise curtain
Noise is all around us. We got to used to it and we do not recognize that to much noise can make us ill. The scientists have invented many kinds of sound absorbing systems. In most case this features work in a way to absorb the noise. Therefore this products need have weight and a huge surface. My idea is to redirect the sound waves via special strings which look like a curtain. At the top of the curtain is a transformer which sends opposing waves into the strings, like as you stop a wave. This curtain can be positioned at any place, also inside a wall.
high water protection for a house
If we are confronted with heavy rainfall over a long period of time it suddenly happens that areas get under water. If your house gets floated it will need a lot of effort for repairing and cleaning. My idea is to fix the foundation plate on telescope columns. This system works without and mechanical elements or electrical devices. If the water raises it will raise the platform of the house too. So you will feel like being on an island.
nonstop train travel
Traveling a long distance by train take you time. We should think about how this kind of travel could be improved by means of shorter duration of the trip.My idea is to start realize nonstop trains. Instead of stops the train will periodically uncouple its last wagon, which then automatically reduces its speed to bring the passengers save to their destination. For travelers it will also be possible to get into the train. A separated wagon will start from the station and follows rapidly the train to dock on. So we have a flying change of passengers.

light without a bulb
Why do light object need a bulb or other body? Examples are the light bulb, the neon tube or the “new” LED lamp which has the same size as the bulb. So, my idea is to invent a light source which creates its body just out of the light itself. You would be able to decide the shape of the light.
