We can find many sources of noise in our household. For example the closing of a wooden laundry basket produces noise, when you let the case door falling down.
My idea is to install two small damping devices which are easy to fix on the wooden frame. The AUSTRIAN Company BLUM is a supplier of such components.
If you once walk on a pavement after heavy rain showers it might be possible to you to get wet, very wet and dirty also. Although it has stopped raining be aware of roads having lane grooves. Some drivers have fun to strike the puddles so as to wet the pedestrians.

I do not have any ideas yet to solve this problem. But I will think about it because in this case we could generate a high benefit 🙂
Coming home from work and checking my letter box does always bugging me. The box is filled with lots of paper. Well, most of the paper is very important advertisement which I manage quickly by wasting it straight way to the dustbin. After this procedure perhaps one letter is left.
My question is what we should change to reduce paper overflow?
When traveling with the train, the bus or by plane you probably get in a conflict with you seat neigbour. I am talking about the “armrest fight” . To whom does the armrest belong actually? In general the owner of the arm is that person who was first. But there is one important rule!! If you once have it occupied then never leave till the end of your travel 🙂

“Today I always have bad luck” many people say, when they have chosen the slower queue at the supermarket cash desk. Professors at unsiversities have been analyzing the situation in front of the supermarket checkout in order to find strategies to enable people finding the “right” queue. But there exists any good results yet. “The American line up” seems to be the best way to me, because there is just one line where always the first in the row get allotted to one of the next idle cash desk. That is fair, isn´t it.
Architects often design residential neighbourhoods in a similar draft. That means, when you live in the ground floor of a apartment building, you get a nice terrace and a little garden. Your neighbor in the next floor gets a balcony. The balcony can be used for having lunch or for relaxing in a canvas chair. Some people also plant some green things :-). This leads me to my problem of this day. When the person in the first floor waters the plants or wants to clean the floor, sometimes water drops down from the balcony ……on the head of your sleeping neighbour. And I am sure your neighbour will not like this very much.
I am looking for good ideas to prevent my neighbour to get wet. It should be simple to install and easy to clean. There a many suppliers offering best solutions but I could not find a ideal solution yet.

It happens to often that cars crashes with a bicyclist. Usually the car driver says, that the bicyclist could not be seen. Especially when the weather conditions were bad.
My idea is to install a device in every car which informs the car driver about an approaching bike. This could be realized as a radar sensor.
Horse riding is … let me say “eco friendly” compared to gasoline driven vehicles. But cars and horses have similarities, they need energy which produces at the end a kind of dirt. While cars produce waste gas, horse leave soft material on the street. That can be dangerous to bikers in summer when the street gets slippery or in winter when these balls get frozen.
In Vienna, AUSTRIA, they Fiaka use a kind of napkin for horses. Is such a thing adoptable for single horse also?
